Do you have a book you want to promote but you don’t know where to start with leveraging LinkedIn?
Do you offer mentoring/coaching services you want to promote on LinkedIn but you’re not sure how to do it?
How do you promote your business on LinkedIn without being pushy or salesy or annoying or irritating?
How do you do it so you’re not ignored or feel invisible?
If you’re wanting to build a platform to promote yourself on LinkedIn and don’t feel like you’re leveraging LinkedIn in the way that you could, here are 3 simple steps to get the word out about your expertise, keep you top of mind, increase your visibility and position yourself as a thought leader and go-to resource on LinkedIn.
Step 1: LinkedIn Updates
Consistently post on LinkedIn with an effective mix of updates. These updates should differentiate you, position you as an industry expert, promote your business and motivate and inspire your ideal clients. Your contacts will see them in their activity feed and can share them with their networks as well, allowing your posts to go viral.
Step 2: LinkedIn Publishing
Use the publishing feature to share your expertise at the top of your profile where anyone viewing your profile sees it. When you publish it will also post to your activity feed where your contacts will again see your article.
BONUS TIP: LinkedIn Publishing is seen by all 400+ million LinkedIn members and is also searchable on Google.
Step 3: LinkedIn Groups
Leveraging LinkedIn is easy when you share value-rich, compelling content consistently to Groups where your Ideal Clients are members.
This again positions you as an expert in your field, a thought leader, keeps you top of mind and increases your visibility. This is how many of my clients initially find me.
