Marketing Success Coaching Story
Christine: What’s your background, Lynda?
Lynda: I’ve been a writer for more than 25 years, writing 1,000 articles for major publications and a dozen books. My coaching business, The Book Catalysts, helps people quickly publish brand-building, business-boosting books that increase their profits and prestige.
Christine: How did you discover my marketing coaching and programs?
Lynda: A colleague forwarded one of your newsletters. I was instantly intrigued. I liked your message and admired what you’ve achieved with LinkedIn. I signed up for your newsletter, and after a few weeks, I received the amazing offer of a free 30-minute consultation. I learned a lot in that session because you gave so freely of your expertise. The next step was a no-brainer: I signed up for coaching sessions because I quickly calculated how much more I could learn from you. And I have.
Christine: How did you get started implementing what I taught you?
Lynda: I immediately created an intriguing headline in my LinkedIn profile. That attracted new subscribers to my list and general interest in my services. And you’ve helped me tweak it for even better results. You helped me look deeper into how I can do the same with my Summary and how I market my business on LinkedIn. You also contributed marketing advice that’s not LinkedIn specific—ready answers to all of my marketing questions.
Christine: What has changed in your life since you started working with me?
Lynda: Using your More Clients Made Easy system, my ability to attract potential clients and close the sales skyrocketed. I appreciate how forthcoming you are—you seem to have the motto, “What’s mine is yours!” By walking me through your system, you gave me confidence to turn potential clients into new clients.
Christine: What advice do you have for someone who has just discovered my coaching and programs and is deciding whether or not to try them?
Lynda: Well, obviously I’d say, “Try them!” But if anyone is still on the fence, ask yourself what it’s costing you not to have answers to your marketing questions. Look more closely at LinkedIn and ask yourself how much you could benefit from a solid foundation for leads, referrals, and new connections. Make a list of all the marketing questions you wish you could ask someone, and imagine having all the answers in a short period of time. Imagine working with someone to guide you through those times you need a little extra marketing success help. I can’t imagine you wouldn’t jump off that fence in a jiffy!
