It can be confusing, but my answer is very simple.
Because not only does having both a LinkedIn personal profile and LinkedIn Company Page give your Ideal Clients more avenues to find you, you also get different functionality with each.
How Your LinkedIn Personal Profile Is Different From Your Company Page
Here are the basic differences between what you can do with a LinkedIn personal profile and a Company Page:
Your LinkedIn personal profile allows you to:
* Post to LinkedIn Groups.
* Message other LinkedIn members.
* Publish articles.
Your LinkedIn Company Page:
* Also shares updates like your LinkedIn personal profile does.
* Gives you analytics.
* Sponsors ads.
